Principal James Wells explains new procedures related to opening of school for 2020-2021

James Welsh principal Caldwell Parish High School the like to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year for making this video so that we can make our reopening of the school a little bit 4 easy for students and faculty as they come beginning of school this year if you'll follow me into the building will show you how it's going to work out when students enter the building don't need to be safe have their face masks songs and need to be able to maintain the 6ft social distancing as they come in they would go to a table they will pick up their breakfast to go which would either be in a box or a bag and they will proceed to their first. Class is based on what hallways they are on as soon as I enter the school from the bus unloading song they will come in through the side door of the cafeteria and get their breakfast they will after breakfast receipt out the end or it goes to their first. Classes students are proceeding to their classes each day we're going to ask them if they would right hand side of hallways is there going down as they enter into the stairwells are stairwells this year are going to be labeled as either up or down will indicate the stairwell as soon as I enter into their classrooms each day the teacher will take the temperature of the food and then documents at on a designated sheet each day once the student they will proceed to their desk or their Workstation they will eat their breakfast inside the classroom and then when the bell rings to start their class they will log into their Google email account go to their Google classrooms and begin their daily assignments students will still need to have their face is gone is social distancing of over six feet cannot be maintained in the class once classes are finished and it's time to go to the next class students will then take the appropriate type of disinfectant wipes and clean their computer site are dentists off before they leave the classroom our lunch schedules are going to run the same time forth. Teachers will bring their students down through the main doors Eddy's Resort at death what time they will come up the side of the cafeteria to the cafeteria manager station they will tell them tell their student ID number then they will proceed to the table to pick up there and then they will proceed back to the 4th. Class with their teachers also this will still need to have their face mask on while they're in the building students are encouraged to bring bottles of water to school this water bottle will be definitely be acceptable anything else in a container will not water fountains at this time. Are still off-limits until further notice students feel sick or not well we're driving them nuts come School in to stay home until they feel better if parents need to come and check a student they will not be allowed into our office but they can come to the main window and speak to the secretary and that's who it may be checked out also outside food for lunch cannot be delivered to students anymore at this current time Edison rodbusters school will be required to have their bath stone hand sanitizer will be available on All Buses as soon as they leave the bus they will be giving some of the hand sanitizers they will be explained by the bus driver that they must maintain so consistently on the bus buses at this time can only carry 50% of their capacity
