COORDINATED FUNDING REQUEST

​As the Early Childhood Lead Agency for Caldwell Parish, the Caldwell Parish School Board  intends to request funding from the Louisiana Department of Education to fund existing four-year-old seats for LA 4 and we will request funding through the PDG (Preschool Development Grant) fund slots in quality early childhood centers for Three year old children through the new Preschool Development Grant funds that was awarded to the Louisiana Department of Education. The funds requested are for the 2021-2022 school year.
 
Please review the proposed Coordinated Funding Requests. Comments are welcomed by the Early Childhood Program Partners  as well as from the community at large. Comments can be submitted to [email protected] prior to February 12th 2021.

It is the vision of Caldwell Parish Early Childhood Network that all children birth to five deserve a high quality, supportive, and developmentally appropriate education.

Our mission is to provide high quality comprehensive early childhood programs to prepare students for kindergarten.

Goals:

  • To increase community awareness of early childhood programs
  • Increase the number of three year old students being served in Caldwell Parish
  • Increase the number of infant, one and two year olds being served by 50 total in 2025
  • Increase the quality of early childhood programs
